My Approach
Gestalt Therapy
Gestalt Therapy lies at the heart of my work. It focuses on increasing awareness — of your thoughts, emotions, body, and environment — so you can connect more fully with the present moment. Rather than analysing from a distance, Gestalt Therapy invites you to experience and explore what is happening here and now. Through this awareness, patterns that once felt automatic or confusing begin to make sense, and new possibilities for change emerge.

Central to Gestalt Therapy is the belief that growth happens through genuine contact — with yourself, with others, and with your environment. By bringing curiosity and compassion to your inner world, we can uncover how you relate, where you might feel stuck, and how you can move toward a fuller, more authentic experience of yourself and your life.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Alongside this, I also draw on tools from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). CBT offers practical and evidence-based techniques that can help you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Together, we’ll explore unhelpful patterns and experiment with new ways of thinking and responding that support your wellbeing.

My aim is to empower you with tools that you can take beyond the therapy room — strategies that help you navigate challenges, manage difficult emotions, and make meaningful changes in your daily life. This can be particularly valuable if you choose to work with me in a short-term framework, as it ensures you leave with a clear sense of understanding and practical resources to continue your growth independently.
